A Century of Sought-After Education
Celebrating 100+ years of learning, leading, and uplifting amazing students.
Montgomery Independent School District was established in 1925, though its roots go back even further. The first school opened in 1837, the same year the town of Montgomery was founded. This kicked off a historical dedication to strong, quality education, of which MISD is proud to uphold today. In fact, families new homes zoned to Montgomery ISD can enjoy confidence off the bat, as the district is ranked in the top 10% in Texas. .
The plan is grand! All that’s missing is you.
